Being born as a woman in a developing country like Bangladesh, still stands in the way of gaining technical knowledge and learning practical skills from regular means. While each member of the society needs to put his or her mark for the social development in the larger skill, women here are still stuck within the four walls of her own home.

With the vision of making these home makers more independent in their own way and gain skills those can financially support them Amra Manush Foundation has started the project titled “AMF Women Empowerment”.

We believe every single woman has the capacity of being financially stable if she has the right set of skills according to her own surroundings. To accelerate the process of their learning AMF has a number of training sessions for the woman of rural areas of Bangladesh. Where women are trained with a variety of skills like stitching, preparing food, making of pickles and many more. To aid them from their own learning we sell their products throughout the country and abroad too. We also provide the required learning materials for these trainings to the women. Our women’s hand stitched Nakshi Katha, Nakshi Bed Sheet, Hand-Made Dresses, Hand-Made Shals and other hand decorated stuffs have a well name among people around the globe.

Amra Manush Foundation has a long dream for this project and the women engaged with it. In the near future we are willing to spread our these training sessions to every corner of the country and bring more women under the umbrella of AMR Women Empowerment project to prepare them for themselves and the society’s prosperity.
